So, business is good and it's time to buy an additional smoker. That said, I currently own and love my CS 70 series and must choose between buying another one(which I am comfortable with b/c I know these machines very well) or moving over to an FEC100(which I know little, never having used pellet loaders). Does anyone out there cook on both? Where does the FEC shine, other than hi temp's for chiks and such. Thanks, as always, you guys make my job so much the easier.

A lot of people use both. But if you're happy with the CS, why not go with another CS like maybe another 70 or a 150? They do great product as you know without pellets or moving parts.

You might also consider going with a couple of Amerique's for redundancy and versatility. Two Amerique's pretty much equal one CS150 if your HD will allow it.
What's your menu and what quantities.

I've owned both, and for me, I'd rather have ribs and brisket in an FE. It IS a different cooker; where as the CS is a moist environment, the FE is more dry, like an offset or other wood smoker.

Really depends on what you want to cook whether it might/might not be a good fit

Given the price of a 150 and an FEC, it's close to a wash if I remember right
