does any one have experience with these types of units? trailer manufacturer called and is doing final setup and offered a deal on these units. sounds like what the amish use. but if i dont get some feedback i am going to stay with electric and a good honda generator.

I have used both in restaurant operations and your will find that both types will do the job with the gas probably being cheaper to operate. But with the fact that you will be in a trailer unit I would reccommend that you go with the electric because the gas units generate a lot more heat inside your operation than the elecric units

I am currently building or modifying a old food warmer like the ones that you have at a school cafeteria, you know the one that has space for about 30 trays. I am going to take out the lod electric heater that is old and not working and put in a propane burner. I am going to use it for catering events, will let you know how it works or has anybody tried this?
