Fat Injector?

I'm not a professional.. so, hope you won't be offended by my question. Actually, asked it in another part of the forum too.

Seems I remember a kitchen tool that inject strips of fat into venison or other dry meats from when I was a kid.

Anyone heard of these.. this is from over 55 yrs ago.. I have a couple of butts that don't have a terribly thick cap on 'em..
