FEC-100 Interior Door Warp?

Still getting acquainted with my new toy, and I wanted to ask if it is normal for the interior door panel of the FEC-100 to warp slightly?

It's not leaking around the gasket, but there is a visible wave in the metal after a few cooks now.

Happened to mine after a chicken "incident". It's never been an issue.

Yep, had a fire one time while trying to crisp some chicken skin. Interior of the door warped a bit and gasket fried. Replaced the gasket and the door in working fine, just not quite as pretty.

They are really built like tanks.

Sounds like the Chicken "incidents" are the cause of most problems. Thanks to everyone for the heads up when I got my FEC. I've been careful where I load the chicken on the racks.
