Has anyone smoked ribs one day and foil the next day? I normally smoke them for about 3 hours but then finish them up the next day for an hr or 2 in the foil. Just wondering if this would turn out, smoking one day and foil the next day you are using them. I am doing about 10 racks for a cook out and would like to smoke them ahead of time because I have a smaller smoker and have to do 2 batches. Thanks Mike

I'm not a fan of "partial cooking" I just haven't found a reliable way to do that.

Couple of options, really depends on what you have available the next day.

Cook them 95 to 100 per of the way, take them out, chill them and wrap and store. Next day, take them out, let them come to room temp and finish for a few minutes on a grill.

Put them in a pan with some juice the next day and reheat SLOWLY on the smoker. You don't want to cook them more, just reheat them, so if you put them in a hot smoker, you'll cook them. A couple of hours at a low temp like 180 works. I don't like this method but it works for many. I'm just not a fan of reheated ribs. But I understand you can't always cook fresh
