Help with Model 250

Just purchased a used Model 250 and needed to find three cooking racks for it. It came with 3 rib racks that i probably don't need. I have used a smokette for years and was wondering if there is any problem cooking small amounts (30 - 50 lbs) of meat in this huge unit? Also looking for a manual for it if anyone has one.

You might try CS Customer Service. Even though you didn't buy it from them, since they hope you'll buy some supplies, maybe they can get you a manual.

Or just ask some questions here and we'll try to help.

Look up Big Daddy on here and post to him.

He has at least one.

One other source is go to the www.bbq.forum and post for DBest1 from New Mexico.

He has a couple of them.

Hope this helps a little.

The grills you require are a PV013 and are $19.65 each plus shipping. I can email you the manual for the SM250. Just email me at t_gordon@cookshack.com and I will forward it to you. In regards to the cooking load, it is better to fill the unit at least half full to get the best product. If you think you might prefer a smaller unit, please contact John Shiflet at (800) 423-0698 and he could help you out on trading in your smoker.
