Hey everyone, this is a question based on something I just experienced.

I made some great baby backs a few days ago (with some great rubs I got in my exchange, thanks again Rich). Well, I reheated a few leftovers in my microwave yesterday for lunch and again today. They were even better then they were right off the smoker.

So, my question is how does everyone heat up their Q and have you noticed that a microwave can make it even better the next day?

Me?

I use "reheat" setting on microwaves a lot. Many people use the high setting and it cooks them.

But ribs is something I never eat leftover. Just don't like them at all (and I think I know what I'm doing).

A gentle reheat. Oven works well with a little moisture. One a grill firms them up a bit. Lots of options.

I know what you mean about reheated ribs. We eat 'em cause we were brought up not to waste food, but it is not the most pleasurable meal for sure.
Steaming leftovers that are in zip or vacuum bags also works very well and usually takes less time. When reheating smaller amounts, a rice cooker/steamer can be used. When using the boiling water method to reheat, the use of a rack on the bottom of the pot will help keep the bags from sticking and tearing.
