Is the cover insulated?

I am thinking about getting a 24" Cookshack Charbroiler this spring. Does anyone know if the cover is insulated or do I need to call Cookshack and ask them?

I was looking at the Cookshack PG1000 Grill, but I have an Amerique, so I really don't need a smoker. Any reason I should be considering the PG1000 Grill?

You'll have to ask CS. I don't think it's insulated, but I haven't seen the latest version.

Question.

what are you wanting to cook? Really makes a difference. The CB doesn't have a set temp like the PG does. It's more of a H/M/L setting.

So, what are you wanting to use it for?

Will be grilling burgers, steaks, chicken breast.
It will be replacing a Weber 22" Kettle Grill.

If you're grillin' not smokin' no need for an insulated cover. That's basically to keep the elements/wind out for outdoor cooks. It's made for indoor/restaurant use.

But I'll ask CS if it's insulated (I think not).

Well, the yearly bonus comes through the end of March, will call Cookshack as soon as I get the check in hand and order one. Can't wait.

Looking at the original note again, I am unsure about which one you meant. The CB lid is not insulated. Have one right here. The PG I don't know.
