I have a fast Eddie 100 and upon testing the temps on the controls are 7-10 degrees + or minus from actual. Does anyone know how to calibrate th FE or should I just improvise?
I did use a calibrated remote thermometer and found the FEC is off by about 8-10 degrees at the probe. I did chart the temp differences at each area and rack to better understand for my needs, I was just hoping the cooker could be calibrated.
In the end it will all even out and it won't matter. Just like some briskets take longer then others even though they might exactly the same. The fun of quing!!
