Is this a SM009?

The stainless exterior smoker is the 009..
The black powder coat smoker is the 008...

Yes! That s an 009. The difference between the 008 & 009 is the 009 is all stainless steel. The 008 is black powder-coated paint on the outside except for the top which is stainless.

How come I just ordered my SM009 (an got it last week) and it is not a Smokette II? Mine has 4 castors on the bottom. The II has 2 big wheels and a handle to tilt the unit back to be moved....

Smokette is old model name. You're getting the latest. Cabela's hasn't updated their web page.

Yes Swede44mag, I have seasoned it and smoked 14 lbs of loinback ribz last weekend! People that have had my ribz in the past (which said my ribz are legendary) thought the ones cooked in the CS were the best ever!

I will be doing a port butt or shoulder tonight!
