Anyone have any final thoughts on the PG500 they'd like to share? About a year ago I started PGing on an 070E for the following reasons:
1. Available locally/local support
2. Relatively inexpensive way to test the world of PGing.
Because of the limitations of the 070E, I have used my large BGE to do steaks, burgers, whole Chickens and turkeys. I've silently continued to look for a more versitile PG on the PG forums. After much vasillation, I've concluded that for size & price the PG500 is the best bang for the buck, so to speak. I kmnow there are those who feel the extra cost of the 1000 can be made up in the difference in pellet consumption. In the long run this may be true for someone who cooks 5 out of 7 days/wk. For a 2-3 day/wk cooker, I'm not sure.Plus the 1000 takes up a lot of real estate. I'd also liketo stay married))).
Feel free to chime in, I'd like to have my "eyes wide open" if I'm going to drop that amount of $$$$
Thanks,
Mike
