I used vinyl graphics on our rig.

If you change your mind, you can peel them off; with paint, you have to scrub with oven cleaner. That stuff makes me woozy.

Some of our lettering is red reflectorized, with a white backing/outline. The same stuff they use on fire trucks.

Look in the yellow pages under "signs".

I'm looking for a different set of flames for mine, more pit type fire looking. Any source ideas? I currently have race car flames, with flames on our dually truck to match.

Good luck! Roger
Thanks for the reply. Being a po boy, I'm building my own,the lettering part of it had me scared.

You have a nice rig! Do you vend at a quarry sometimes? There is one close to me and I am going to try to set up there some.

It has been a while since I visited Rock Ridge. One of my favorite places. My wife who is Texas German has been lovingly called "My Teutonic Tw_t " throughout our marriage. Wink
We've been at it for a while. We started out pulling a stickburner behind a motorhome, and a Haulmark trailer behind our freezer truck, where the salads were kept.

Jethro Bodine always said, "you can't expect to be an overnight success, Heck, it took me 13 years to gradyeeate the 6th grade".

Rockin in the Quarry: Is an event in early June, at the Southern Minnesota limestone quarry.

They have a huge limestone stage, a local band, and the local orchrestra. All free, even to vendors. Donations are appreciated. BYOB.

It's put on by a private guy, (not the city) used to be mayor and owns the quarry, that's why it's so successful. He had Pres. Bush in for campaining down there in 2004. First pres since Roosevelt's whistlestop to come to Mankato.

Good luck! Roger
Freebird,
We went with a sign company and had vinyl signs put on. This has been over 1 year on a trailer and it's stuck just fine since. Another thing you can think about if you're thinking temporary signs, velcro. We used industrial strength velcro to hold a menu sign on the trailer. Stick the curly finish side in a shade that matches your trailer on the vehicle (ours is white so it's easy) Stick the fluffy side on your dry erase board or whatever. When you get where you want to be just stick the board onto the trailer.

Cookshack uses a company called SignsNow for trade show banners and graphics. They have always done a great job. I have noticed in their store that they have lots of options for lettering and graphics for vehicles. I did a net search and came up with a few in Texas. (Please note that there are two pages of them when you click on the link.) I don't know if any of them are near you or not.
