Bought the fec 100, took the health department 15 meetings and lots of pleading but they ok'd it, as long as the fire chief approved. Called the fire chief and he said no after calling me "wonder boy". So now im waiting for someone from the state to approve it. Long story short they want it outside...smh. Well health dept says no way. I am so frustrated i could puke. Im so tired of the bull, ive followed all of their rules but my city and state keeping putting up road blocks, as soon as i get around them they come up with something new. Thinking about hiring a lawyer. does anyone have advice for me. I forgot to tell you im a street vendor and my city hates food carts and free enterprise.

Not to spend your money, but you could consider an FEC-120. Send them the .pdf file for the FEC-120, and ask them to review it as an 'oven'. I assume your putting your gear under a hood ? Mandatory in my world - nice thing is both my smokers are under hood, but don't need a fire supression nozzle, because they are self contained fire inside, and nozzle wouldn't help anyway. They basically treat the smokers like an 'oven'.
