Model 50

I've had a 50 for about 4 years or so. Love it! Not sure what other smokers you're talking about, though. You mean other CS models, or just smokers in general?

I can say that the 50 is the most fuel-efficient of all the cookers I have. ) I also have a WSM, which is great, too, but requires some attention. My offset is a fuel hog and requiers a LOT of attention. You could get by with having ONLY your 50, and be extremely satisfied...for good. Unless the power goes out!

Had my 50 5yrs now have made and smoked sausage also hang ribs from hooks. It really is great way to smoke meat and I get lots of compliments!!
