Model 50 vs. 55?

As to humidity,I live at the beach in central Florida and mine has been outside for three years with a loose cover over it.

We are in a saltwater shower every night.

I try to pay a little attention to major scratches in the paint and put a little 3 in 1 oil on anything that looks like it could use it.

You should call sales and talk to them about the cold smoke kit.There are also several threads on the search function,addressing the different uses of it.

I have the 55 and the cold smoke kit both work great. I like the look of the stainless and bought that more for the looks than the durability differences. My unit looks great I never use the cover and is easy to clean.

I have a 55 because I live right on the salt water marsh and and it stays out on the porch uncovered and still looks good and no rust.
