My wife decided @ 4:00 pm sunday that she wanted to cook a whole chicken(4 1/2 lb)that was in the freezer(of course). I decided to cook in the Weber gas grill . I used the smoker box w/3 oz of apple wood. Well-- what i used to think was the best chicken you could put in your mouth was dry, very little smoke flavor. The only good thing was it only takes 1 1/2 hr to cook & the skin ( which you shouldn't eat) was delicious. My how the Cookshack changes everything (for the better).
I guess the lesson learned is if theres not enough time for the Cookshack it's NOT cooked.
