I am in the process of starting a BBQ concession trailer in the parking lot of a biz I currently own.I had a local guy that is in the bbq biz lined up to do the cooking & run the show. Well, things have changed & now I need to hire someone else to run it for me. I am looking for a Smoker that we could use that would be so simple to operate that just about anyone could use it. I liked the Southern Pride Smokers because of their smoke & hold features etc. but then ran into the Cookshack Smoker while researching. I am leaning toward the Cookshack but not sure as to what model I would need. Im thinking about a smaller unit or maybe even a used one as money IS an issue now. The local guy was suppose to furnish the smoker so funds were not alloted for that...now I am scrambeling. My trailer is just about complete & I need a smoker. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

We are in the business of making long-term customers, and we help people solve problems.
Hi LittleDixie, I operate a bbq business 9 months a year out of a 14 foot trailer which is licensed as a certified kitchen. I have a Joe Smoker, BJ410, installed within the trailer. This is a clone of earlier model 150s. Do all of my smoking in it and use it for holding oven. I ordered a new 150 last week and will be offering the Joe Smoker for sale in a week or two. It is a stainless steel model with computer operated controls. I plan on asking $1200 for this smoker. If you are interested contact me at grumpy@mtbbq.myrf.net. Telephone number is 406-207-5276 or 406-777-5175.
