New FEC100 Owner

It would be hard to miss if it wasn't overlooked. It's roughly the same dimension as your wire shelves though it's solid sheet metal, is slightly flanged on the back & front side and has a downward flange on the left & right.

If it wasn't included, don't use the FEC as it channels drippings down to the grease catch on the right side...and downward to the underside hotel pan.

Call CS if you don't find it.

...I was thinking about foiling a rack and using that as the drip tray--does that sound safe for a 200* cook?

Seems to be working fine for now...man, this thing is a blast to smoke on--can't wait to taste the results!!...

SC, hopefully your cook went well. I just cooked about 100 lbs of BB and I had quite a bit of pork drippings into the grease pan. I am interested to hear how you improvised to cook 200 lbs. Thanx..

Did your new FEC100 come with a handle on the door? I just got mine yesterday, and it is a reverse model. I just assumed that the handle was inadvertantly left off of the machine. I called Cookshack and they said that they no longer put handles on the doors. I can't hardly believe that. I'm going to put one on there, but it's going to kill me to drill holes through a shiny new stainless steel door on a $4000 smoker!
