Was all set to buy the Amerique, and called to place order only to find they were all out and waiting for parts. While waiting for it to come in, Cookshack announced the new models. I really like the new Elite series as I was only going Amerique to get the temperature probe. I have been reading online and am confused about one thing:
On the Amerique it will automatically enter a hold mode once your meat has reached your selected internal temperature. I find no mention of a hold mode on either the Smokette Elite or Supersmoker Elite. Does anyone know if they use the same controller that the Amerique uses or is this a more simple type of temp control??
