I just got 4 trays for my FE. The last time I smoked something small enough to fall through the racks---it was smoked almonds--- I knew it was time for a change. Prior to the new trays I covered the racks with foil and then took an ice pick and made a lot of holes in it to allow the smoke through. It worked but it was a real pain.

Here's a pic of the racks. They're pre-holed 16 inch aluminum pizza pans @$5 a pop from my restaurant supply house. Last night I used one to cook a meatloaf (I'll post the results of that separately). I'll use them for nuts, shrimp, calamari, cheese---the possibilities are endless.
