No smoke

I have a model 45. During my last 2 uses I noticed no smoke coming out of the top or door. It heats just fine and still tastes ok but no smoke. I tried new wood but that didnt change anything. Any suggestions?

What does the wood look like after the smoke? Do you smell smoke? Have you opened the door during the smoke to see what is going on inside the smoker? Give us a little information, and we might be able to help you out.

Check the heating element to see if it's making contact with the bottom of the wood pan. If not, gently bend it up till it does.
