On/off switch on Maverick remote temp

Do you have the 373 ? It has an off button on the back.

You probably have the ET-72 and yes, you do need to take the cover off to turn it on and off each time you wish to use it. If possible, return it for a refund and buy yourself the ET-732. Maverick listened to many of the shortfalls of the ET-72 and remedied most of the problems with the ET-732.
