Has anyone modified their FE with pnuematic tires? I have a old FE 100 and want to add these tires to it. I was going to have someone else do it, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I know BS misters have large wheels on his. I have tried this before with another pellet cooker I had and it did not work out to well. If the legs where shorted it would work better. It seems to top heavy and also the pnuematic tires seem to give to much. I would use sold one if you can fine them.

I'm going to be transporting on a platform on the back of my rv. Just figured they would be easier to move the FE with 4 wheels instead of only 2...
One other consideration might be what pressure you have in each tire. I know this sounds nitpicky but the FEC needs to be on the correct level to make sure the grease runs out properly.
Changed out the wheels with a larger solid but soft commercial tire, works great.
We also made a base unit that shortens the height of the FE for travel, the base unit then just hooks onto the upper unit when we use it.

I think solid rubber tires might be the trick. a little more $ but no maintenance.
