I am a KCBS certified judge; however, i guess they did not need me as no one responded for my judging talents.
Thus, I decided to do my own judging and here are MY results.
Weather-excellant, 70's, partly cloudy, and enough oklahoma wind to blow the smoke away.
Location-right on a Lake with good electrical, flat areas, and plenty of nice parking in close.
Best beverages-Water and Beer at reasonable prices. Very cold, wet, and good.

Overall Grand Champion--->tie for first between a team headed by some guy named Stuart and another team headed by a guy named Russ. I should make note that it was very apparent to me that the younger members were the glue holding those teams together.
Best Chili-(yeal, I know that is not in KCBS) far and away was the Four Big Guys from Ponca who were not competing but loved to cook Chili and it was tasty, appearance was good, and I unofficially gave it first.
Best thing learned new at Ponca-->how to make those Butt pieces...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
