Fast Eddy,
Was there some reason you opted to use a 5.25 inch flue on the CS/FE100.Flue run in 4/6/8 inch at the hardware store, and there is no reducer to the 5.25 flue,so split the elbow clampto the pipe.Second question, will there be a problem of using too many 90*els in order to vent to the outside.I have to go through a wallso it will require 3 and 4 to 6 feet of pipe, and cap on top. Here is the background on this question,in my hotrod days the exhaust on the cars we ran were short and with very little bends as posible,so back pressure would form in the system, and cut engine performance. The CS/FE100 is the engine, the flue is the exhaust ,the low speed blower and the heat push the smoke out the flue.Is cfm on the blower along with the heat as heat rises, enough to vent this unit, without causing too much smoke to the product and too much retained heat in the unit. Therefore back pressure.
Inquiring minds want to know.
Thanks,

Papa, it's a 5" exhaust. I bought a 5 inch elbow (adjusts for any angle up to 90*) at Lowes for about $3.50 and it fits over the FE100 exhaust like a glove. I use it, and sometimes a second one as an extension, to extend my exhaust out of the garage (the FE sits IN the garage, out of the rain)and to deflect the wind. LMK if you need a picture and I'll take it and either insert it here, or email it to you.
I went to HD and found the vent in the HVAC section and it fits fine. You can't put a straight piece on it, you need a piece that has the proper "give" to go around it, it's made for fitting to other pipe the same size.

Unfortunately, HD has better options in the 4 and 6" variety with only a little bit of 5"

I found more 5" options at a plumbing/HVAC specialty store.
