the castor wheels are just bolted on to the legs, but the legs go up into the stainless steel shell. DO you mean for me to take off the back of the shell and see where the legs attach?
You can take the wheels off easy enough, but the legs are welded in place. You'll have to cut them off. I haven't done that, so just call CS and ask, I'm sure they can give you any specifics you need.
I used a Saws-All to cut the legs down and welded new mounting plates on so I could bolt on new rubber inner-tube type wheels. This way I could lower the center of gravity to reduce tipping over and make it easier to load into my truck with the winch. The legs do not come off on my FEC100 ramp model with the new controller.
