Never heard of them, I'd be goggling and trying to find out.

I'd ask them for references, a good company would provide them.

I did look at the site, and glad they're offering an FE, as the one I saw in the photos would be a waste of a smoker (bad) on a 30K trailer.

I also wouldn't get that generator, it looks like one of the noisy versions.

You're doing the right thing, keep checking.
I talked to Russel concessions about building my trailer. I was around the area and tried to go by the mfg site, but he said he was to busy for me to drop by. So I had Custom Concession build my 44 foot goose neck trailer, James worked with my design and gave me some advice as far as the arrangement of the kitchen.

We picked up our 18 foot trailer from Russell Concessions in June & opened in August...NOTHING but PROBLEMS w/ our unit. Spent 2 days cleaning & scrubbing a brand new unit just to show it to the local health inspector. 2nd day of operating water pump went down...turns out they left all the little plastic chards inside the fresh water tank from where they drilled into it for plumbing AND didn't leave a way to flush the tank!!! Next week, had our first rain...let's just say that we had a monsoon waterfall in out trailer where they didn't seal the a/c unit properly. Hood was making a racketing noise when we picked it up...Shaun assured me that it would work itself out...figured out when we were getting the a/c sealed that they had installed it incorrectly & the motor belt was 2 inches off from each end, so we adjusted it & it works now. Russell Concessions put a soda fountain in it...all the connections were backwards & coke had to switch everything around, not to mention that they used flow tubing instead of pressure tubing at all the connections, so we've had to replace 5 leaky connections where leaks have sprung up on 5 different occasions. They assured me all my equipment was "vibration tested just for them by the manufacturer" & secured so properly that we should never worry about our equipment moving. So they secured the oven, the char-grill, & the double fryers with two little drywall screws in the front & nothing in the back after they assured me that all the equipment was locked in place front & back...well our oven has already turned over going around a curve at a slow speed & our char-grill & fryers are all slanted now where they've slid from not being secured.

We just had to clean out our water pump of plastic chards for the 5th time today costing us drink sales again today. The edges of where the aluminum is connected on the outside shell is ragged & rough & already cut me deeply. After giving them the measurements of my steam table at least twice, it still wouldn't fit when we got it, thank goodness we took it all 15 hours with us so we at least got them to relocate the drink machine to make room for the steam table before we left.

When we picked up our trailer, the carbonator sprung a leak...we should have known right then what we were up against not counting the fact that I've never seen such a junky shop & operation...I mean trash EVERYWHERE. We should have left the trailer where it was right then & there, but we were kind of in a jam considering we'd already wired the money so we could leave with it. Let's just say that our trailer didn't look anything like the ones in the pictures on the web! Both sinks legs were broken which we didn't catch until we pulled the freezer out to fix the water pump the first time, & realized that is how they were installed to start with.

To top it all off, Shawn assured me that the way their warranty worked, that since we lived 15 hours away we could take it to a local RV dealer to have repairs done & he would pay for it...needless to say I couldn't get in touch with them once the problems started & they wouldn't do anything to help us. So we finally filed a BBB complaint to no avail...they accused us of extortion & lies & said we were just trying to get them to pay for repairs that were our fault...I didn't install any of that equipment. Then they told the BBB that our only option was for us to drive the trailer 15 hours back down there for them to inspect it & "see" if any of our issues were their responsibility. If anyone says they got a nice unit from these guys, then I'd have to assume that mine was just sabotaged maybe b/c I ordered a few pieces of equipment that I found for a lot less & had them shipped there & paid them to install since they mark everything way up. I'll close by saying that Shawn informed me while I was there that they will be closing down their company in the next few years or moving it to Mexico...so don't buy a Russell Concession trailer!

Dang can I move in?
We just picked up our second unit from Coastal Concessions & Mobile Kitchens, Inc. out of Lucedale, MS and have been happy with their work so far! On the previous unit they installed an FEC500 and on this one they combined the FEC120 with one of their custom rotisserie's on the rear for visual appeal and effect! We have never had any negative issues out of Russell Concessions and they have always been very attentive to our request and needs during the sales, health dept., and manufacturing phases. Thanks from one of the largest Catering Operations in Southeast, TN!
