My little eatery is booming and I've hired more staff to keep up with the rising demand. Today my manager told me that we needed 10 more cutting boards and I didn't wanna spare the money for buying em. So I went into my woodworking workshop & cut maple into small blocks. Still the wooden surface is pretty rough & it needs to be sanded. Any idea where I can buy an affordable good quality mouse sander that I can use for this ordeal? Anyone experienced in woodworking pls reply.

Check Craigslist and Facebook market place for used ones. I even see a pad sander in Goodwill occasionally.
I like my orbital sander and use it 95% of the time over the in line pad sander. For leveling and removing lots of wood, the belt sander does a good job. You just can't get as fine a grit for that as you can for orbital.
Even with maple, after sanding don't forget sealing with a good wood block oil.
I have a much older version of this sander and it works very well for me. There are many styles to choose from but I found this to be most economical as you get 4 pads from a standard sheet of paper. It has an adapter for pin holing the paper for dust collection.
