I got to enter my second comp this past weekend, LSBS rules. Made the final table in brisket, but didn't place; got seventh in spare ribs.

I had the only FEs there and the same at my first comp. I had spent too much time explaining how they operate and showing them off. Maybe I should hit up Cookshack for compensation.

I don't feel too bad about how I fared. Everyone else there had at least five years comp experience, most had eight or more.
