Second Comp

I got to enter my second comp this past weekend, LSBS rules. Made the final table in brisket, but didn't place; got seventh in spare ribs.

I had the only FEs there and the same at my first comp. I had spent too much time explaining how they operate and showing them off. Maybe I should hit up Cookshack for compensation.

I don't feel too bad about how I fared. Everyone else there had at least five years comp experience, most had eight or more.

Good for you EZ. Gettin out there and competing is the best way to get the experience. And it sounds like you already have a great start under your belt.
