Hey Guys,
The plastic caps on the bottom of my smoker wore out and fell off over time. Have you been able to find replacement caps or figured out how to install casters like the later model came with?
Thanks in Advance,
Ray

I didn't use the casters that came with my SM025. Send me a PM with your address and I'll mail them to you. Then you can figure out how to install them and tell the forum Smiler

Smokin' sent me your address. I've got the package all sealed up and addressed. Will post it tomorrow.

I didn't have any use for the casters but they were too nice to just throw away so I'm glad to have someone use them.

Have fun and good luck!

Thanks! I think my brain was on vacation!

SmokinMAINEiac, Thanks again. Let me know what the postage is and ill mail you a check.

Take Care,

Ray

You are welcome Ray...

I mailed the casters to you today by Priority Mail.

No need to send me a check. Just drop some change in the Ronald McDonald House collection box at Micky D's now and then.

Anxious to see how you utilize the casters.

Smokin' a rack of spares in my SM025 as this is written Smiler

Let's see some photos.

Enjoy!

I followed given2fly's method.

I smoked two racks this size. My wife and I ate some, then my daughter dropped by and she had one and took three home for her husband, then a neighbor dropped by and he ate four.

We only have two ribs left...time to make a trip to the market for more ribs!

Guys,

I finally figured out how to mount the castors. I went to a castor specialty store and bought some plastic plugs made for castors with smooth pins. I then hammered in a T-nut into the hole and screwed the castors in. Looks great and rolls fine!

Thanks Again,
Ray

You're welcome Ray. And thanks to you the forum now has a "how to" on installing casters on a Cookshack smoker that did not come with casters!

Good job!
