...but not very long sausages. Ring bologna, linked sausages, and continuous snack stix fit fine. At least 8 rings of bologna will fit.

Summer and similar large diameter sausages need to be around 12" or less in length. I buy 24" or 30" long casings and cut them in half or thirds.

To get a little more height for those, you can set the side rack holders to their top position, then set your smokestick on top of the channel rather than in it. You may need to shorten up the string loops on pretied casings, too, so they hang tight against the smokestick.

I don't believe CS sells smokesticks for the Smokette (altho I certainly might be mistaken). Regular 42" aluminum ones can be cut to make 3 Smokette size ones.
Just a hint for hanging - I close the end of the casing with a hog clip (available from the sausage equipment suppliers) and put a small S hook in the clip before I pinch it tight - works very well for hanging. Remember to keep the sausages short enough so they don't get too close to the heat and overcook the bottom edge. 15# of sausage is about a full load. As tjr said - put the rack holders to their top position, then I put the rack on top, and hang from the S hook from the rack.
