Traced the maker of the controller and spoke with them this afternoon. They have available some more 225 parts. They could also make a run of some more 225 controllers if traeger wanted them. The owner Dick Taylor was going to speak with Joe Traeger about what traeger wished to do. Ortech is building these for Traeger and does not wish to sell them direct.
He also indicated that he had designed programable controllers for the traeger feed. These would start and stop the unit at a given time, change temperature settings etc. They were not implimented because of complaints that they were too complicated.
Dick is a really nice guy. When things are not so busy maybe in need to take a little roadtrip to Mt. Angel and speak with Mr. Traeger about the
controller ideas and possible upgrades.
