Still crazy after all these years,
I just had a look at the label on my Cookshack 55 June 28, 2002.
I live in Alberta CANADA
It's spent it's whole life outside uncovered- which isn't recommended by Cookshack.
Sometimes it gets rained on sometimes it gets snowed on - again not recommended by Cookshack.
Sometimes I forget to clean it but when I remember it always cleans up good - again something not recommended by Cookshack.
All this time it has worked faithfully with NO service what so ever.

I finally bought a fancy Thermoworks BLUETHERM DUO just to see how accurate the Cookshack dial thermometer was after all these years turns out it was spot on.

Pretty amazing I'm not aware of any other appliance certainly none that I own have showed this degree of reliability.

So if you're thinking of buying a smoker and you are considering a Cookshack.

Choose your model carefully because you're going to be living with it a long long time.
