Supplier(s) for Barbecue Sandwich Shop

On a scale of 1 - 10 Sysco rates an 8 in my book. They inventory everything under the sun and the quality is right up there. Unfortunately, the pricing isn't quite as competitive as it once was...unless you're a MAJOR ACCOUNT buying millions per week.

Over the years, Sysco has gobbled up most of the smaller regional suppliers, as has US Foodservice. If you pay your bills on time, you can cut deals with your sales rep. Also, check out "weekly specials"

If you have a Sams Club or Costco handy, check prices and their' specials too...and let your sales rep from Sysco know that you do watch the competition

So, do you order from Sysco for items such as the Hormel Cure 81 ham and the gooseneck round beef? Also, do they sell cheese? I believe my grandfather told me that he was buying his ham direct from Hormel. Thanks for the help.
