Has anybody at Cookshack thought of putting a manual temp. probe in through the door?
Before I bought my 008, I had a hand me down smoker from my dad who bought it from the Sausage maker. This smoker had a thermometer through the door, it was cheap and reliable, and I could buy 10 of these for the price of 1 electronic thermometer. It was an easy way to tell the inside temp. My 008 is great and I'm already looking into a bigger Cookshack model.
