Tempature Probe????

Open to anyone

I bought a "Perfect Temp" with the remote probe. Have used it 4-5 times and now im getting inacurate readings. This figures out to be $5 per use. There were no calibration directions with this, can it be calibrated? It reads 71 on the ice water test. Any help would be great. Have a Boston Butt going on tonight. Thanks CkunkWood

Evenin',chunkwood.

Go up to the search,under post a reply,and click on it .

In the search block,enter thermometer, all open forums and my member # 47.

There should be 7 show up.

Click on polder problem fixed--Aug.28--beginners and read that thread.

This usually works,if you have time.

Mrs. Chunk was ahead of me on this one. She had read that section that you referenced. We are working on correcting the problem. Thanks again.

you can always go with what we did before they invented them new fangled thermometer dohickies.

Shake the bone on the butt. If it wiggles or comes out when you pull. It's done.

sorry, sometimes we all rely too much on the exact temp. Once you're done these a couple of times, you'll know when it's done.
