im so close having my consession trailer finish.ive finish the covers for the serving windows but cant seem to find any supports to hold the covers open.can anyone point me in the right direction to buy or make my own.thanks cb12

They sell them at Auto Zone. Can't remember what the call them. They are like the gizmos that they use for hatch back doors.
Another suggestion would be to try either a RV dealer or an awning dealer.
freebird i thinks those are called srongarms ive look at them and they would work but theres so many of them

I built a trailer with large aluminum awnings that were held up with gas struts. It works great. What you have to do is know the weight of the awning and make sure your struts will handle the weight. I ordered mine to handle more weight because over time they will weaken. I can not remember where I got them except I found them on the internet.
