I need to transport my FE to a contest in a pickup truck, but don't have the room to lay it on it's back. Since the FE is kind of top heavy I was wondering if anyone has transported one upside down (on it's top). Is there anything that would be harmed transporting it in that manner?

People transport them right side up in pickups, but I don't know how the fasten them down, or if they do. Someone will jump in here shortly and tell us, I have no doubt.

I wouldn't recommend standing it on its head.

I've transported mine with a blanket against the cab strapped down and over the top and it rode just fine. Since then we have purchased a small trailer and adapted a bar to allow us to do the same thing we did in the pickup bed.

I guess it depends on what kind of truck you have. I agree that I wouldn't turn it over on its top.
