It's our annual Crawdad Festival. Six pounds for me and the little woman. $50.00
Went home and fired up the cooker.
I am in town cooking some butts and some beans. Tomorrow morning on goes three racks of spare ribs and a couple of baby back ribs. Listening to Stevie Ray Vaughn. Smoking a CAO Brasilia, followed with Dos Manos Tequila and a lot of Amber Bock beer. Mama is passed out and it's a beautiful night out. What more could you ask for???

Put on a 26 lb chuck roll on the FE last night at 7:00pm, thank goodness for the FE I am not up. Checked this morning at about 7:00am 159 internal temp, turned up to 240 setting from the 225 setting. Took some pictures of this monster before putting into the FE will take some more after, plan on stopping about 190-195.

I may not have an FEC but I do have a butt going in the 55! I was seasoning the smoker after a cleaning last night right about when you posted...set the alarm for 2am to put the butt in but couldn't drag myself out of bed 'til 6

Another reason to mount a laptop on my scooter, I was up, riding the roads with a 21 lb chuck roast, pastrami and 4 racks of ribs in the 55.
Never could have done that with a stick burner....
