Bolt/Tiedown for FEC100?

Hey folks,

I searched the forum, and didn't come up with anything that was quite what I'm looking for.

I was wondering if there is any tiedown type hardware that fits into the holes in each of the FEC100 legs? Maybe a pin and bolt type system with a ring to then strap down to the floor of my cargo carrier?

I can just use some regular ratchet type straps and place the hook through the hole, but I figured someone else maybe have found a better way!

If you're not bolting it down, put straps over the top. Do not try using straps at the bottom to transport it, it will end up on it's side.

I was planning on both. I'm just trying to figure out the best method to get the legs tied down to the cargo carrier's eyelets.

I've seen some folks use those threaded type hooks so that may be what I do, but I wanted to ask if there was a better method.

I drilled a hole in the frame near the top of each leg and I use that hole to insert the "S"hook from a rachet strap. I then attach the other end of the rachet strap to D-rings on the floor of my trailer deck and tighten her down. This works just fine for me.

Drilled holes in the legs at the top right below the frame atachment. Inserted eye bolts and use 4 chain/turnbuckle with quick links on each end, one in the eye bolt and one in the d-ring. Never had an issue with movement and have towed long distances.

Here is what I did. The square tube is attached to the trailer wall, and the L-shaped piece is attached to the smoker.

The thing doesn't budge. At All
