Burn Pot Fan Replacement

I called and ordered a burn pot fan from Cookshack today and was shocked at the $110 price for a small plastic fan. Looking at the original it is an Orian Fan OD1238 which describes the size 120X38. The following letters are 12 HHB which the H standing for High output and the HH Super High Output and the B is for Bearing. After looking up the fan on Orion’s site they have a few distributors for their fans online which I used Digikey.com. The exact replacement for the burn pot fan on my FEC100 is priced at $19.06 from Digikey a big savings over the Cookshack $110 price. Hope this helps you save a few bucks.

The muffin fan is just a computer cooling fan, in fact, when mine failed at a remote contest, I replaced it with a $20 fan from Radio Shack. In fact that was 4 years ago and it's still running strong.
