1st comp with the FEC

Well, we took our FEC100 to the kings Mtn, NC cookoff for it's first competition and did pretty well. We cooked our ribs and chicken in the FEC and finished our brisket in there as well.

We ended up taking 2nd place in ribs and 12th overall in a field of 42. The FEC did a great job!

Congrats on your outing.

We cooked Kings Mountain last year,the first year of comment cards for judges and some trial changes to the judging ,unannounced.

We thought there might be some riots.

Interesting.

The Anything But
/Dessert categories ,the celebrity judges came around to the site and judged your presentation,and your product.

The locals knew to set up for MIM type visits.

There was a good fried fish place that we all ate at for a couple of nights.
