For those who have had an AmeriQue delivered, has it come on a standard UPS delivery truck or a high gait freight truck or tractor trailer?
Did you have to get it down off the truck?

It doesn't hurt to ask here, but I'd call Cookshack Customer Service to find out about how they ship these units, and get the current info from the horse's mouth. Someone else's shipping experience, sometime in the past, may or may not be useful to you.

Std UPS for me.. Box was messed up but, fortunately, all inside was OK

My first amerique was delivered by UPS and it was dented on the top and the door, eventually got a good one and cookshack sent it out by a different delivery company. The Amerique is a great unit you will love it.

Did you refuse the shipment or did you have to repack it and send it back?
Mine was delivered standaerd UPS to the fron door of my house. I ordered it from The Charcoal Store and it was packed with extra styrofoam, everything in perfect condition. You will love the unit.Happy Q'ing!
I ordered mine from the charcoal store.It was delivered by old dominion freight co. It was packed on a pallet and plastic wrapped very well. it was necessary to help the driver unload it from the truck, no lift gate. Had I not been home, I doubt the driver could have unloaded it himself. It did arrive in perfect condition though.

Beamie: I didn't find out until the ups left, so I called the good people at cookshack and they sent another one out, I had to repack the damaged one in the container that the new one came in and ups came out and picked it up.
