Hi, a little more information might be helpful. What kind of operation do you plan to use this in? What types of products are you looking to cook? What kind of budget are you looking at?

My suggestion is to think about the answers to these questions, and post the details, along with your origianl question to the "Professionals Only" section of this forum. You are likely to get more of a response in that section. There are people there who use Cookshacks products in addtion to other manufacturers equipment.

You can also get a lot of info by nosing around the net as far as specs are concerned. Go to Google, and type in something to the effect of "commercial smoker ovens".

As to your original question, I use several smokers, and I use a Cookshack every single day. I have found the Cookshack smoker to be extremely reliable, cost effective, and their customer service/technical support is top notch.
Can anyone tell me from experience what they think the best commercial smoker on the market is? What a good price for the smoker is? What makes it better than others (features)?
I plan on using the smoker in a restuarant, where I will be smoking Meets (specifically brisket) & possibly some fish. As to cost of a smoker, I have not limited myself to price at this time.
Good Morning Howfeig,
Re/ best smoker.I can assure you the with out of doubt the cookshack is by far the best.I have looked at southern pride, ole hickory and several others before I purrchased ours in 1996.We run two 250 model units and a 150 for small items.Product comes out great every time.Easy cleanup,SUPER great support from factory. We like to work on the KISS principle(keep it simple stupid) and these units work great.Hope this helps
you.

You're asking to general a question to get much response. As suggested, I'd go to the Pro forum where restaurant owners and caterers can give you some specific advice.

You might tell us a little about quantities and what's on the menu. If it's just brisket and seafood, you don't need a commercial smoker for that limited of a menu.
