Is it normal to find some black run-off around one of the back legs. I just finished a brisket and when cleaning up, I noticed black liquid under the back left left leg. This didn't appear to be fat drippings, more like smoke and water. I set my unit on a table with a alumium fry pan to catch drippings. Just wondering if I have a bad weld on unit or if it is normal? A little bit more to have to clean up after.

I looked at the bottom of the unit, and it appears that the liquid didn't run from the drain hole (no trail). I haven't cooked anything else yet that would have a large amount of moisture to look for, just some jerky and chicken parts. No problem sited with these. I guess I should try something before the 30-days are up though. Thanks
