Thanks. Was not able to reply before today. I had an 8 lb butt and 4 lb brisket. Put the butt on at 11 PM at 200 - top rack

Added the brisket flat at 7:30 AM on the bottom. I did not have another probe so I crossed my fingers. Checked at 1 PM and the brisket was at 150. Turned up heat to full and checked again at 3:30. The butt was at 195 but the brisket had shot up to over 200.

The butt was perfect but the brisket was a little overdone. Was not too dry but I put in a crockpot with beef broth after slicing.

I got good reviews on the brisket even though it was not what I had hope for. Next time i will cook the brisket alone!

Thanks for the help.
