Casters needed?

Hi Guys,

My 025 Smokette just arrived. Is it necessary to install the casters (for heat clearance, etc.) or is it OK to leave them off?

You can leave them off, but they make it easier to get a pan of some sort under it to catch the drippings

Thanks Chef. Done with break in. Wood turned to a nice mix of ash and charcoal. Just put in a dry marinated (Greek spices) leg of lamb with 2 oz of cherry wood. Looking forward to the results of smoke no one!
