catering and business thank yous

Do any of you give out thank you presents to your customers? Other than your good food? If someone hires you for an event, do you give them a thank you? At one of the seminars I went to, the instructor suggested flexible cutting boards with your logo on it. Has anyone done anything along these lines? What works well for you?

He was talking about giving out the cutting board to catering customers. Not as an everyday give-away.

We did a 300 person wedding reception a couple of weeks ago and put together a picnic basket for them to take to the hotel with them since typically you don't actually get to eat at your own reception. It included samples of all the food that was served, fresh fruit and a bottle of champagne.
