Cleaning Question?

The first thing I smoked was a batch of wings yesterday. I did put foil in the bottom.... but I did not cover the smoker box... so I had a bunch of hard baked drippings. I left it there....

Last night I put a shoulder in and this time put a piece of foil over the box.

So do I leave that crust alone... or scrape it off? Probably doesn't matter.

I'm lovin this smokin machine!

I did the same thing on my first smoke. Then I cleaned the top of the smoker box off & cover it with foil and put a piece in the bottom. I change both after each smoke. Be sure to punch a drain hole in the piece of foil on the bottom & install a drip pan.

Yep. The interior smoker walls, floor and ceiling are the places to keep seasoned. Everything else is post ta be kept clean!
