I use 1 FE100 to do all my competition cooking . It will cook plenty for 6 judges in each catorgie plus more than enough to take home for BBQ all week .
How much do you cook for each category ? Currently I cook 6 racks of ribs 2 butts 2 briskets and a mess of chicken thighs. But that is on my backwoods. I haven't used the FE in competition yet.
We cook alike, except I cook six "slabs" of ribs. I don't have the discipline to cook on one FE, although many winning teams do. I like the convenience of using two pits, especially when I need to dial one up at the end.
